Dear parents/carers

We would like to thank all of those parents who have taken the time to share their lovely comments, acknowledging the hard work of all the staff, to adapt to the changing situation. We would also like to say thank you for your efforts in supporting the children through such a challenging time. It is only by working together that we can make the best out of the situation.

We have been very impressed with the children's enthusiasm for learning, be it from home or within school. The vast majority have already accessed the remote learning tasks and the children in school have been fully engrossed in their tasks.

Already the children have demonstrated their newly aquired knowledge, such as explaining the structure of the Earth or performing Roman dance moves. When asked to describe the return to learning the words/phrases most commonly used were: "Amazing", Fantastic", "Excellent as normal" and "So pleased to be back". We must build on this, during the coming term to make sure that all of the children develop their skills and knowledge, alongside their passion for learning.
