Autumn term 2023
Dear Parents, Carers and children
As we end another academic year at Lakeview School, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our collective achievements. I want to commend our incredible children for their dedication to learning, and their determination to be the very best. Our children’s accomplishments, both academically and personally, within and outside of school, are a testament to their hard work and commitment, and I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them.
I also want to extend my gratitude to our wonderful parents and guardians. We recognise the crucial role you play in your child's education, and we are grateful for your vital and continued support, in partnership with our teachers.
Our dedicated staff members, have worked tirelessly this year to ensure the best possible educational experience for our children. We have successfully introduced our Primary Knowledge Curriculum and the Sounds Write phonics program – both of which have had a positive impact on learning and standards. This was also acknowledged in our Ofsted inspection last October, and the outcome of this was also a validation of all of the hard work we have put in, to move school forward.
As we look towards the next academic year with excitement, I am confident that we will continue to grow, build upon our successes and embrace new opportunities to provide an excellent education for our children. Our commitment to fostering a love for learning, promoting personal growth, and preparing our pupils for a bright and promising future remains unwavering.
Wishing you all a restful and joyful summer break.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Jackie Normanton
