A child need only isolate if they test positive for Covid-19.
Should this occur, parents must contact the school to explain the reason for absence.
If the pupil is unwell, they should not be expected to complete any work, although they may enjoy reading and being read to.
If the pupil is asymptomatic, they may be able to complete some remote learning. This can be requested from the school office and will be sent to the parents/carers via email.
On return to school, following the period of isolation, the child will be offered a series of 'catch-up' sessions, to ensure that they are able to settle back in to the class.
As previously, we may be able to support families through the loan of a device, should this be necessary.
Children can also access learning on a range of platforms, including;
- Purple Mash ( details are in the back of planner/Reading Journal)
