Children and adults are at the heart of our school; our school is at the heart of our community.

Spring term 2023

Dear Parents/Carers

The first term has been eventful, and the children are now well in to their spring curriculum.  All year groups have sent home their curriculum overviews so that you can see at a glance what your children are learning.

In addition to this, for Science, Art, History and Geography - knowledge organisers provide detailed information about the knowledge and vocabulary your children will learn in each subject.

School visits are now planned for the rest of the year, and we have welcomed some exciting visitors to Early Years, Year 3, who had an Anglo-Saxons workshop whilst Year 4 were Romans for the day.  Year 5 have halos been  learning to create music on ipads.  We have also had a visit from Jam, the Tyrannosaurus Rex which the children loved.  On 3rd February we are 'dressing to express' the theme for this year's mental health and wellbeing week.  The children will complete activities to help them understand the importance of looking after their wellbeing and mental health.

This term our value is Kindness, however children can be chosen as Values Champion for demonstrating any of our school values:

Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Aspiration, Excellence, Perseverance

We look forward to seeing you in school over the coming months to attend the many events we have planned.
